The DFG project SATIRE focuses on the development of a scalable miniature radar with a resolution in the millimeter range and imaging capabilities. Areas of application for the radar system are industrial monitoring of bulk goods and human-machine interaction, in which people and objects in the vicinity of a robot must be reliably detected.
